The Milking Process
Way-Har is home to 250 Holsteins, Jerseys, and Brown Swiss milking cows plus another 200 heifers and calves. The cows are milked every 12 hours in our double 6 herring bone milking parlor. Each cow is prepped, sanitized, and wiped clean before a soft milking unit liner is attached to each teat. After 10 minutes of milking out, she is returned to her group to eat and rest.
All Bakery items are made fresh at our farm market.
All of our bakery items are in our dairy store! Everything from pies to cookies and cakes to bread are made fresh on a daily basis. Gluten free and sugar free items are available.
